Things to consider....

When it comes to your session, I like to be as prepared as I can! This is not required, just a few things to think about before we meet for your day!

Before your session

“What do I need to do to prepare?”

When you book....

Depending on each individual session I will normally send a questionnaire before we meet I can be as prepared as possible for your day.

Type of Session?

What type of session do we need to prepare for? Newborn? Engagement, family, maternity, birthday or headshots? If you are doing a birthday session do you have a theme, color or special prop or props you want to include? Are you bringing a cake? (if this is for a birthday.) If we are doing a newborn session, do you want a posed shoot or more candid / lifestyle vibe? Are you going to be adding in other family members, siblings pets?

Location....

Do you have a location in mind? or do you need suggestions? I can definitely take over and pick a spot, I have lots! or you choose! Think about the vibe you are going for....Tall grass? Rustic buildings, the city or more of a classic simple field vibe? Are we thinking indoors? At home? Ive gotten some of my favorite pictures in my own backyard!

What is your style, and what should you wear?

First, who is going to be photographed? is this a family shoot or individual, do you want to do multiple outfits? do you need help with ideas or outfit choices? (My "go tos" are the classic styles, solid colors, light blues and all those nature hues!) Keep it simple. Think about staying consistent if being photographed as a group, and think about the time of year, and style you want, more posed? lifestyle? candid? Let me know so we can get exactly what you want! Also, feel free to ask me anything, or send an example!
